US based startup building an Enterprise AI & Analytics platform using state of the art Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing technologie (web - whiz.ai)
Job Description
As NLP & Machine Learning Engineer you will:
1. Design and build scalable conversational and classification components for real time NLP & Deep learning pipeline in Java as a part on an AI enabled platform for Healthcare
2. Design and assist in building batch processing data pipelines for domain specific model training, maintenance & optimization
3. Design and maintain interfaces (REST/gRPC) for integration with UI and other components & services
4. Understand requirements from domain experts to design & build solutions & NLP models
5. Lead a team of 5 developers in full software development life cycle with agile methods
Must have Qualifications
Technical
● 5+ years of design & development of large scale distributed systems in Java on Linux platform
● 3+ years of experience working with complex NLP/NLU based projects & technologies
● Strong Java skills with a computer science background and ability to write production quality code
● Experience with any Machine Learning tools like TensorFlow/Theano/Keras or DL4J
● Good knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures, ORM, OOP & Design Patterns
Non-Technical
● Good communication & presentation skills
● Self-Driven with strong sense of ownership and urgency
● Ability to lead a distributed team
Preferred Qualifications
● Familiarity with Apache UIMA/RUTA, Stanford NLP
● Knowledge of Analytical/OLAP & Graph databases
● Experience working with Elasticsearch
● Programming in Python
● Apache Spark
● Experience in the Healthcare domain
